Far Cry 3 is a computer game from the genre of the Open World Ego Shooter and the third part of the Far-Cry game series. The game was first developed on 29 November 2012 for Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was developed from various studios of the French group Ubisoft under the leadership of Ubisoft Montreal. The scene of the game are two fictional islands in the Pacific. The player takes over the role of Jason Brody, a young American, who falls into the hands of pirates with his friends in a vacation trip. After his escape from the pirate camp, he tries to free his friends and kill the leader of the pirates, Vaas Montenegro. Far Cry 3 builds on the game concept of the predecessor. The central element is the extensive, free-walk-in game world in which the player will open up numerous options for action.
